Bowes Hearing Care is a family run business based in Ellon, Aberdeenshire. David Bowes is an experienced audiologist who is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). He is fully registered with BSHAA and insured to carry out hearing tests, demonstrate the latest hearing aids and carry out ear wax removal either in the comfort of your own home or within one of our clinics.
Cameron Bowes - HCA
We are very proud to be a family business. Cameron Bowes is a fully qualified HCA (Hearing Care Assistant) and carries out ear wax removal using micro-suction and irrigation. He is also qualified to do service appointments for hearing aids and annual hearing tests.

Our Westhill Clinic is located within Step and Stone Health, Westhill Shopping Centre (just opposite Marks and Spencer). Step and Stone is a bespoke healthcare clinic offering: physiotherapy; podiatry; sport massage therapy, relaxation therapies and our own audiology services.

Hearing Tests

A build up of wax can often cause problems with hearing. Ear wax removal or syringing is no longer a commonly available service in many NHS surgeries. How long does a hearing test or wax removal take?
Please allow 60-90 minutes for a hearing test and half an hour for ear wax removal.
